Video is a must!
I'm sure to many (myself included) video may seem very intimidating, but for marketers looking to stay competitive the addition of video can be very beneficial. Video allows marketers to capture a large audience and convey information in a more personal fashion. Another useful feature is live video which allows consumers to tune-in in real time and receive instant feedback.

Personalized Emails
The next trend you may have already noticed as a consumer, brands are starting to create emails tailored to each customer. Previously companies have sent out broad messages to thousands of consumers, but now they are working to craft more specific messages. These messages are more personal and connect to each consumers specific wants and needs.
Artificial Intelligence

AI provides companies the ability to automate their customer service and identify ways to improve their marketing strategies. AI can analyze consumer behavior through their searches and social media activity to understand how current consumers and possible future consumers find a company's products and services. This can help marketers target consumers by learning how and where they use online platforms.

Influencer Marketing
While inflencer marketing isn't "new" it will continue to be a prominently used marketing tool in 2019. You can expect to see even more companies joining the trend of using influencer marketing and companies already using it will continue to do so and possibly increase the amount they do. Influencer marketing has proven to be very successful in the past years because people are more likely to trust the opinions of influencers they closely follow and relate to, versus statements put out by corporations.
